What does this mean?
In essence, as an outgoing mail server, you want to minimize sending unwanted emails and avoid complaints about your outgoing email traffic. If you send too much unwanted mail, you may end up on a "blacklist," which could eventually prevent you from sending any mail at all.
To prevent all of this, we have decided that when you sign up with hitnews, we will ask you to enter a properly functioning email, and if, for various reasons, your email is deemed "unreliable" afterward, we will request you to replace your current email with an active and reliable one.
- The receiving mail server is sending it back (bounced).
- The email address does not exist or is inactive.
- The email address is causing a DNS error.
- The email address has marked our email as spam.
