It's our birthday! Hitnews exists no less than 20 years!
Of course, when we started Hitnews with five people 20 years ago, we had to conquer a place in the market. We were the first to offer a 14-day free trial and ongoing email support.
We grew super fast and didn't really know what hit us. We soon had to expand our data center and started looking for our own premises. The move, without our clients being aware of it or experiencing any inconvenience, was quite a challenge.
But when we moved to America in 2010, because the usenet market in the Netherlands was rumbling, we had experience from last time in our pocket.
In the middle of New York, 25 cabins were placed to take over everything 1:1 from the Dutch servers.
Just two years later, we had outgrown this place as well and moved to an even larger location to expand further.
After we became a reseller of Omicorm (Eweka) and the era of usenet changed, a number of partners decided to leave the company. Time to clean up and reboot.
We are very proud of where we are now with a beautiful website and a major update of our CMS system. We offer cheaper prices with a simple structure. Have added block accounts to our offer and were the first usenet provider to start a forum.
But without you as a loyal client we could never have achieved all of this. Thank you for being our client. On to the next 20 years!
