Spotnet Problems re-install
Problems with Spotnet
Hello,
You indicate that you have problems with spotnet.
We have adjusted the security of your services, but spotnet apparently has some problems with that in the beginning.
Please proceed as follows:
Uninstall Spotnet
Not everything will be gone from your PC after removing it, please follow the steps below.
1 Click on my computer (this computer)
2 click on the c drive
3 Click on the folder program data*
4 Scroll down until you see the SpotNet map*
5 Delete this folder!!
*NB! you may not see the program data folder.
You can fix this by clicking tools > folder options > view > Show hidden files and folders.
I myself use an English operating system and at the moment I can't remember what it says if it concerns a Dutch OS.
Once you have completed these steps, go to the following link and download Spotnet "Classic"

Once you have downloaded Spotnet, you will install it.
When the installation is complete, fill in the following information:
Your username and password
server : news.hitnews.com
Port : 563
Connections : 50
SSL : Select this
If you have filled in everything, then spotnet will create a new database and it will work again.

Beste,
U geeft aan problemen te hebben met spotnet.
Wij hebben de beveiliging aangepast van u diensten, maar spotnet heeft daar in het begin blijkbaar wat problemen mee.
Gaat u alstublieft als volgt te werk :
De-installeer Spotnet (zowel de Classic als Spotnet 2.0).
Na installatie is niet alles meteen weg van uw PC, volgt u de stappen hieronder alstublieft.
1 Klik op my computer (deze computer)
2 klik op de c schijf
3 Klik op de map program data*
4 Scroll naar beneden tot je de SpotNet map ziet*
5 Verwijder deze map!!
*Let op! het kan zijn dat je de map program data niet ziet.
Je kunt dit oplossen door te klikken op tools > map opties > weergave > Geef verborgen bestanden en mappen weer.
Ik gebruik zelf een engels besturingssysteem en kan me op dit moment niet herinneren wat er staat indien het een nederlands OS betreft.
Als u deze stappen heeft doorlopen, dan gaat u naar de volgende link en download u Spotnet "Classic"

Als u Spotnet heeft gedownload gaat u deze installeren.
Als de installatie klaar is, dan vult u de volgende gegevens in :
Uw gebruikersnaam en wachtwoord
server : news.hitnews.com
Port : 563
Connections : 50
SSL : vinkje aan
Als u alles heeft ingevuld, dan als het goed is gaat spotnet een nieuwe database aanmaken en werkt het weer.
